Vacant homes are difficult to read. Without furniture there is no reference for scale, no sense of how a family would actually move through the plan, and nothing for a photograph to hold onto.
Staging supplies all three at once. Seating defines the conversation zone, a properly sized dining table proves the room seats eight, and layered texture gives the camera something to render.
What we hear from agents again and again is that the online photos are the listing. Buyers decide whether to book a showing from a phone screen, and a staged room simply survives that screen better.
Every home and market is different, and no staging company can promise a timeline. What staging reliably does is widen the pool of buyers who can picture themselves living there.
